Nooooooooo !

Last minute addition to ROCKERPARIS, sorry we were supposed to go @ the nearby Cité de la Musique to see AIR & Au Revoir Simone but could secure invit' this morning for the second Premiere of The Doors Documentary "When you're Strange".
John was yesterday night at UGC in Les Halles to do the same thing as today (click for review & Pics).

Lots of people again but much more press than yesterday, he gave a few interviews first then there was a short "photo call" with Director Tom Dicillo.

They both went into the hall to introduce the documentary, same shit as yesterday, John told us exactly the same story.
He was out 4 minutes later. Maybe they should have done a Question & Answer with the audience.
He gave a couple more interviews in the lobby and went to a second smaller hall, this time there were fans, you could feel it by how he was welcome.
Same shit again, 4 minutes later they were out.

SORRY for the shitty sound, I Know I have to fix it.

Brasilian composer & arranger Eumir Deodato is playing the Duc des Lombards, a small club in the heart of Paris, tonight ( June 1st) for two shows at 8:00PM & 10:00 PM.
He will also play two shows tomorrow ( June 2nd).
Unfortunately ROCKERPARIS is very busy this week so we can't go but could attend the rehearsals this afternoon.

Eumir has released two masterpieces of cool music , his first two solo albums, I'm sure that you're familiar to a couple of songs without knowing that he's the man behind those songs.
Very relax atmosphere as always with Eumir, we are glad to attend these rehearsals in small committee.
His shows are always groovy so don't miss him, I think there are still tickets left for tomorrow HERE

American garage rock band The Willowz is in Paris to promote their brand new album.
First they're playing an hour set at Radio Show C'est Lenoir for the Black session.
They will play in a couple of days at The Bus Palladium club.
Show was OK just above average.
Not bad not very good either , the singer has a very annoying voice.

The new The Doors documentary " When you're Strange" is out next week in France ( June 9th) & tonight John Densmore , the drummer from The Doors is back in Paris for the Premiere.
He was already here last month to do interviews for the press.
Usually there' is a short interview with a MC and then with the audience, NOT this time.
John is here to tell a short story ( How Jim wrote the lyrics to"People are strange" ).
And then He made a quick exit barely saying goodbye to the sold-out audience.
Cool, it only lasted no more than 3 minutes.
